Work-Trade

Full access, half the price

Put in studio work, like clay recycling and glaze-room upkeep, in exchange for full membership at the lower rate. It's a good way to learn parts of the process you don't usually get hands-on with, and suits anyone relaxed about scheduling.

For members producing at volume

This tier is for members who need more room to work: their own shelves, longer hours in the studio, and priority on the kiln.

All tiers require a completed induction. Kilns fire to cone 6. Firing is billed separately, per piece by weight (€3.00–€4.50/kilo depending on glaze and load), capped at 60 firings a month for members, paid in-studio. Recycled clay and our basic range of glazes are included in your membership price. New clay is sold by the studio, available in-studio or to take home, as are some basic tools. Cancelling your membership requires 2 months' notice. Going on holidays or hitting a busy patch? You can freeze your membership (and billing) for up to 1 month a year.

House glazes & recycled clay are included in every membership

Recycled clay and our house glazes are covered, and we handle the recycling for you. Only firing is billed separately. Members also get 10% off all classes.

It makes the price a little higher up front, but you always know what you'll pay, and you can experiment and make mistakes freely.

Want something beyond the house range, like a specialty brush-on or a lustre finish? We also stock a range of clay, underglazes and glazes at standard retail prices, so you don't have to shop online or drive across the city.

Community

Socials & skills exchange

Regular member-only socials, plus a noticeboard for skills swaps and tips between members. Nothing's compulsory. Come in and work in peace, or use the studio to make friends. Either way, that's what the space is for.
